Here is a picture of Colton playing dress up with one of my scarves!!  He loves putting on necklaces and hats and wearing anything around his neck!!  Love him!

When I grow up . . .

Tonight . . .
Austin - "Mommy when I get bigger I want to be one of those people who helps people"
Me - "Sounds good to me honey"
Austin - "Yeah, I think me and Colton will grow bigger someday and help people together"

The boys getting ready for bed and monkeying around a little bit this evening!!!  I told Austin tonight at dinner that I love him and he said, "I love you too mommy".  Me: "Oh Austin thank you, you are a beautiful little boy"  Austin: "Mommy, you are gorgeous."  Oh bless his little heart!!  What a little sweetie!

Lots of fun in Fort Dodge!

Just thinking about how fun last weekend was!!  Here are the boys just driving around the yard in Fort Dodge.  Colton is the best passenger Austin could ask for.  He doesn't say anything at all just wants to sit in the passenger side and go wherever Austin takes him.  They are both so funny when they drive around because they both have extremely serious faces on . . . neither of them will crack a smile for anything. 

Austin's first fish!!

Austin, Brian, Nick and Papa went fishing on Sunday!  Austin had never been fishing before and he was very excited to see what it was all about.  He was extremely happy to find out he could be as close to the water as he wanted to be!  He told me when he got home, "Mommy, I just walked right in the water".  He also held a fish and told me, "it was slimy and it wanted to swim some more".  He is super cute.  I think between the four of them they only ended up catching one fish so I'm happy that Austin at least got to hold on to a fish and see what 'going fishing' means!!!  Colton was supposed to go fishing but he opted for a nap when it was time to head to the lake.  So Colton got to play with Annie instead of fishing.  Perfect day for a fishing trip!!

Happy Saint Pat's!

We spent St. Patrick's day in Emmetsburg and had a great time!  We went to a juggling show on Saturday and Austin was disappointed not to get on stage but he did get a balloon animal.  He requested a tiger and that is exactly what he got!  Then Austin had a couple shamrocks painted on his face and we watched the parade.  Austin wore himself out at the parade and ended up falling asleep in Colton's stroller.  Austin picked up a piece of candy that was thrown out to him;  he threw his little arm up in the air and said "MOMMY they are throwing out candy . . . . and I LOVE CANDY!"  It was so completely adorable to see the happiness in his face and hear it in his voice.  He had an amazing day.  Colton walked up and down the parade and had a good time meeting people and just walking around!!  After the parade Austin and Colton went to the park with Grandma and Grandpa.  The weather was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend!!
