Visiting my uncles in Ankeny!!

We went to Ankeny and Aaron came over to Nick's so we got to see both uncles at one time. Of course, time went too fast but there were lots of smiles and laughs while we were there. Austin loves Nick and Courtney's dogs. Deuce is a big favorite because he's content to let Austin pull his ears and do whatever he wants too (Uncle Nick is of course standing close by to make very sure Deuce lets Austin do whatever he wants.) :)

Grandma and Grandpa Kliegl came and watched Austin this month! Austin had a super good time and we made a trip up to Estes Park. We were so close to the grazing elk we took a ton of pictures. Austin slept through everything but he otherwise enjoyed the trip! He is standing up all the time now . . . so close to crawling but not quite crawling. . .

So, Austin has discovered the little handles on our coffee table and began pulling himself up last Monday. Sorry it's sideways.

He keeps jumping and jumping and jumping . . .

Austin can go from laying down to sitting up all on his own now. He still likes his jump chair but we think he is getting close to being too big for it. Hard to believe!! He has two teeth that are trying to poke through on the top. They don't seem to be bothering him at all and he doesn't have any symptoms of teething . . . we didn't know they were coming until we saw and felt them. I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Here are some more eating pics and a video. He was very serious during this meal! He is not feeding himself yet he just really wanted to hold on to the spoon. He knows it goes in his mouth and then he just wants to chew on it. He has the two teeth on the bottom and it looks like a tooth is trying to come through on the top now! Yesterday Austin pulled himself up and stood by the coffee table! It was a lot of work for him of course but he got up and tried to reach for anything that he could!!

Austin with his penguin that is the same size as he is! Austin had a good week. It was rainy and cold here all week so there was lots of inside games and playtime. Hopefully this weekend we have some better weather so that he can enjoy some fresh air! We don't have much planned for this weekend. Happy Friday and enjoy the little show. Love you!
