Hello! We have been terrible about updating the blog in the last few weeks! Our trip to Iowa was a lot of fun and when we got home Austin had a runny nose, cough and his very first temperatre. Last Saturday his temp was 102.8. Very scary for mom but Sunday we had it down to 101.4 and by Monday it was 98.4 so everything was fine. He still is holding on to the runny nose and a little bit of the cough. I feel bad for him. So, he has been needing a lot more holding and hasn't been up for taking too many pictures. He is getting back to his happy old self again. He started bobbing his head back and forth this week. We think he may be imitating some of mom's sweet dance moves! :) He also started singing and raising his left hand up in the air. Not sure where he got that move but they are both super cute. Today we went to Taste of Colorado downtown. It ws a very nice day and we went with Cassie and Jeremy. We watched a band, had some food and then we went to Jeremy's mom's and went swimming. Austin is loving the water. We had a great day. Austin didn't take an afternoon nap as he was having too much fun looking around at all of the new exciting things he had to see. He zonked out at about five o'clock and slept for only 45 minutes. Needless to say it is 8 o'clock here and he has been sleeping for at least 30 minutes already. He was a very tired boy when we got home!!

Austin on the Move!

Here is a litte clip of Austin crawling. We need to make sure our house is baby proof this weekend!!

Grandma and Grandpa Lenox were here to watch Austin last week! We had other visitors from Iowa as well. Sarah, Jake and Zoey came over. So, Austin got to spend time watching Zoey run circles around the living room. They seemd to reconnect like they had never spent any time apart! :) Grandpa and Grandma had a good week too. . . Austin had a lot of fun! He started going to the babysitters on Monday and it has been more of an adjustment for mom and dad than it seems to be for him. He is always happy still! There are three other boys at the babysitters that Austin likes to just sit or STAND and watch! Love you, Amy

On Tuesday, Austin started crawling and he got to taste his first vegetable! We had green beans. The first bite had a happy reaction, the second bite he seemed confused and the third bite he was making a really funny face. Now, tonight, on day four of green beans, he likes. He opens wide and seems to know what is coming! Happy friday everyone. . . love you!

So, Austin can crawl!! He crawled on my birthday! We are going to try to get a video of it to show everyone. In these pictures Austin, Brian and I went to meet Masan Redman (my friend Lindsey's little guy!) Austin didn't quite know what to think of him since he isn't moving around too much yet. There is also a picture of him in his rocking chair and a picture of him driving us home from Iowa. . . not quite as scary as Brian's driving! JK :)
