Good morning! Yes, it has been too long. Austin is ready to go for Jon's wedding this weekend!! Just thought I would post a more recent picture to the blog so everyone can see how fast he is growing!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! This is Austin wearing his green shirt and his shamrock socks. He is getting himself into a little bit of trouble in the bathroom!! We went around the lake today and stopped at the park to play because it was 70 degrees!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! We have had some technical difficulties with updating the blog for a couple of months but we plan on being up and going on a regular basis again! Many things have happened that most of you have heard about. Austin started walking on October 27, 2009 . . . just 3 days after turning 9 months old! We have been happily chasing Austin around the house ever since. I can't believe his first Christmas has come and gone already. We have had a very blessed year and can't wait for next year. Hope everyone is doing well. Love you!

We are back in Iowa for Nick and Courtney's wedding! So much fun . . . . Austin looked adorable in his little suit and he was such a trooper all weekend. He had plenty of attentive family and friends who were there to help. He partied at the reception and overall had a fantastic time, smiling and laughing all weekend!

Austin can hear it but can't see it! He is definitely not afraid of the vacumm cleaner. He crawled all over trying to get close to it. It has a cord that was really fun for him to watch! His pink eye was completely cleared up over the weekend. Monday morning he was about 100% better. I'm thankful it's better, it just broke my heart looking at him with those pink puffy eyes.

This weekend Austin's right eye was a little pink when he woke up Saturday morning. This morning it wasn't as pink but still holding on. Hopefully it clears up before this week and isn't anything serious. We watched college football Saturday and did some work around the house . . . Austin helped us with the laundry! Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hello! We have been terrible about updating the blog in the last few weeks! Our trip to Iowa was a lot of fun and when we got home Austin had a runny nose, cough and his very first temperatre. Last Saturday his temp was 102.8. Very scary for mom but Sunday we had it down to 101.4 and by Monday it was 98.4 so everything was fine. He still is holding on to the runny nose and a little bit of the cough. I feel bad for him. So, he has been needing a lot more holding and hasn't been up for taking too many pictures. He is getting back to his happy old self again. He started bobbing his head back and forth this week. We think he may be imitating some of mom's sweet dance moves! :) He also started singing and raising his left hand up in the air. Not sure where he got that move but they are both super cute.
