Well, we had a pretty busy week. I had to go back to work on Monday. :( It was a really sad day but it was made a little easier with the fact that "Annie" came out to watch the boys. It was a nice transition for me, so we didn't have to jump straight into work and dropping the boys off at the babysitters. Everyone had a great week!! Last night we fed Colton his first rice cereal. He did pretty well. He didn't actually eat too much of the cereal but he was pretty interested in sitting in a big chair and getting to hold a spoon. It was a fun experience . . . Austin tried Colton's cereal but immediately handed the spoon back to me saying "No Mommy, Colton eat that" and then he left the room. It was pretty funny and now at least we know Austin won't be taking Colton's food away from him!! Annie left this morning and we had a nice little family evening. Tomorrow Grandma Jill gets here and she is going to watch the boys for us next week. I'm sure it will be another great week of stories to share. The picture of Austin was taken looking into Colton's closet. Austin has been climbing up and "taking a nap" on his shelves. I also love the picture of Colton in the high chair. He looks so excited and happy to be in a big boy chair!!

It is hard to believe that our trip to Iowa could go by so quickly. We had a great time and this is a small picture collection from the places we visited. We got to spend a couple of nights at Nick and Courtney's! We made a fort, got to give Hunk & Deuce a bath, go to the park, visit with Carol, Mark, Meagan, Madelyn and just hang out together! We spent some time in Fort Dodge with Annie and Papa. We got to see GG Sally, Rick, Judy, Wayne, Mallory, Kelsey, Kim and a few of my friends that I haven't seen in a while either. We then went up to Emmetsburg to see Grandma, Grandpa, Nate, Tacee and all the great grandparents. Aaron and Becca came up from Des Moines which was a nice surprise as well. Austin and I got haircuts. Colton rolled over from his stomach to his back!! It was a lot of fun seeing everyone. We were of course missing Brian and he was very happy to see us when we got home!! We were gone for close to two weeks and this has been decided to have been too long for us to be gone. It is nice to be back home but it is hard to believe this is my last week of maternity leave. We are just trying to enjoy this last week!!

We are going to be flying to Iowa tomorrow. It will be Colton's 4 month birthday and his very first flight. These are just some hanging out pictures from the weekend!!

Here is a picture of Colton sitting in his chair. He likes sitting in it for a little while at a time. This way Colton can be down on the floor with us while Austin is playing toys. There is still the occasion when Austin likes to sit in Coltons chair too. :) I have to remind Austin who's chair it is every once in a while.

Wednesday Austin came into the living room while I was nursing Colton and said "Come on Mommy/Colton, come on" I couldn't get up right away so I said to wait just a minute and we could come play toys too. He then said, "Come on Team, Come on" I asked him who was all on his team and he told me Mommy, Colton and Austin. I asked him if Daddy could be on our team too and he thought a quick second and said "YEP! Daddy too" It was very adorable and now he has started saying Come on Team for the past couple of days!!

I took these pictures of Austin last week. We got a ton of snow so Austin and Daddy played outside for about a half hour. Austin made "snowballs" and threw them at the window (where I was taking the pictures) Of course, his daddy is the one who did it first! Austin loves being outside in the snow. We don't have anymore snow this week. We actually went to the park the last two days because it has been almost seventy degrees both days. Hard to believe that it is only February!!

Here is Colton talking up a storm! I couldn't catch a good smile this morning. We are hanging out inside today. It is supposed to warm up to almost 30 degrees today!! YEAH!

Happy Groundhogs Day!

Austin got a pair of slippers from Cassie and Jeremy and he loves running around in them. When he first opened them he ran around kicking his legs out in front of him so he could see Elmo! They are adorable and so is he!!!
