Hi everyone!!  Colton has 4 teeth!!  He had three bottom ones for a while now and early last week a top one finally made an appearance.  So far lots of drooling has ensued.  I thought this was a good picture to show off the three on the bottom!! 

Happy Birthday Grandma Jill!

We have been celebrating Grandma Jill's birthday this week!  We made some brownies and blew out candles on Sunday night.  Colton went to bed before we blew out candles so we had to celebrate again on Monday night too.  Colton was more interested in his "baby cracker" (as Austin calls them) than in the candles.  Austin blew out the candles 5 or 6 times and of course we sang "Happy Birthday" to grandma every time!! 

Surprise Uncle Nick!!

Aunt Kim, the boys and I headed to Iowa on June 2nd for a surprise 30th birthday party for Nick!  There was a live band at the party and Austin thought it was the greatest thing.  He told me repeatedly that it was the best rock-n-roll concert he had ever been too!  Austin and Mason Griffin ran around together, dancing & drumming for the entire three hours the band played.  It was really exciting for Austin when the drummer let him play the drums . . . three times!  The next day we got to go to Uncle Nick's waterpark, which was another great day. It was the first day Colton had ever gone swimming and he loved sitting in the water.  Austin loved all the water slides and the lazy river.  It was quite a busy trip!!

Rock-N-Roll Music

There is always time for Rock-n-Roll music wherever we go!  These are pictures of Austin and Colton jammin' with their Great Grandma Evelyn and Great Grandpa George.  We have now even mastered the rock-n-roll marching band! 

A few weeks back a brand new garage was built at our house and the very first time I pulled into it . . . I ran into the door frame.  Luckily the garage is fine but my poor car has some damage.  So, I refused to park in the garage for about a week and then gave it another shot.  Now, everyday after pulling into the garage, Austin says "Yeah Mommy!  You did it!"  He also claps!  It is nice to have my own little cheerleader.  And he is so genuinely happy for me that it is completely adorable!! 

Pass the peas please . . . . to someone else!

Colton ate his first vegetable today!!  We didn't get too terrible of a reaction but that might be because he didn't swallow anything!  We are pretty sure he spit out every single thing we put in his mouth.  Guess we will have to keep trying!!

Happy Mothers Day!

We had a fantastic Mothers Day!! We spent the entire weekend outdoors; playing in the yard, playing in the sprinkler, playing in the park, etc. We walked to a park on Sunday and had a picnic and played on the equipment for a couple hours. Austin told us while we were eating lunch, "This is the best picnic ever" That sentence made my whole day!! You can see from the pictures that our little daredevil climbed as high as he could on all the equipment the park had to offer!!
