Here are a few pictures from the past few days! Austin loves helping mom and dad with the laundry!! HOpefully that continues for a long time to come! We were over at Jon's and got some shots of Austin and Phoebe (the cat). Austin sure keeps a close eye on that kitty. And GO STATE!

First time swimming

These are the pictures of Austins very first time in a swimming pool! We went over to Jon's on Sunday and tried out the pool. He had a great time but we're not quite sure he knew what was happening. He enjoyed splashing. . . he warmed up to the pool water faster than his dad did! :)

Hi everybody! Today we went to the store which is always fascinating for Austin . . . so much to see! I love the lizard outfit with the matching hat so we set up some poses to get some good pictures. We also went over to Uncle Jon's and worked on crawling. He's not crawling but Jon has carpet throughout his apartment so we can crawl around easier and show him how it's done. It would have been quiet the site if someone would've walked in to see Jon, Brian and I crawling around the apartment. :) Austin was more interested in Phoebe, Jon & Clare's cat. He got a hold of her tail, Phoebe didn't seem to care too much but she kept her distance after that!

A Couple of Firsts!

Today we went to Ella Wiersma's 1st Birthday party. It was at a slide that had a playground. We put Austin in a big swing for the first time. He was a little leary at first. Made a little noise because he wasn't quite sure about it but once he got going he had a GREAT time! We had him in the swing for about fifteen minutes and then we took him down the slide once. I don't think he even knew that he went down the slide. Not too interested in the slide but he would definitely do some more swinging!! So, these are a couple of photos and a couple of videos. The videos are sideways because Brian hadn't used the camera as a video recorder before! Enjoy them!!!

Today Austin is 5 months old! Seems hard to believe that it has already been five months. Today I took the afternoon off and Austin needed a bath. So, this is a quick little clip of him splashing in the tub. He is liking bath time more and more. I usually wash his hair and his body and then we spend some time just playing before the water gets too cold. This was right towards the end of bath time. I tried to keep it "G" rated . . . I know I didn't succeed completely! Happy Wednesday!

Pictures of Austin chillin' at home with mom and dad. There's also a little video of him rolling around on the couch. I thought he would roll over but he didn't quite make it on the video. He is however rolling all over the place now.

This morning Austin and I woke up Brian with a little "Happy Fathers Day" song and a new muscle shirt! So, mom made dad put on a muscle shirt too for a photo op. The shirt is a little big for Austin so he needs to get some muscles to grow in to it. Doesn't he look like a tough guy in the one where he is laying down?!? :) Hope everyone had a great weekend!!
