Hey everyone! We hope you had a great weekend. Jon babysat Austin on Saturday for a few hours so Brian and I could go to a movie. I think it was a great experience for Uncle Jon! Austin had a good time and was still smiling when we got home . . . of course!! These are just a few pictures and a video of us hangin' around the house Saturday and Sunday!

Well we ended up driving to Iowa last Thursday and shocked everyone who got to see us! We were not planning on coming so it was very fun showing up and seeing the looks on everyones faces!! We had a lot of fun and the trip was well worth it. We spent two nights in Emmetsburg and two nights in Fort Dodge. These pictures are from Grandma and Grandpa Lenox's kitchen sink. This was Austin's first "sink bath". The pictures are totally adorable and he of course loved the water!! Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July!

Here are a few pictures from the past few days! Austin loves helping mom and dad with the laundry!! HOpefully that continues for a long time to come! We were over at Jon's and got some shots of Austin and Phoebe (the cat). Austin sure keeps a close eye on that kitty. And GO STATE!

First time swimming

These are the pictures of Austins very first time in a swimming pool! We went over to Jon's on Sunday and tried out the pool. He had a great time but we're not quite sure he knew what was happening. He enjoyed splashing. . . he warmed up to the pool water faster than his dad did! :)

Hi everybody! Today we went to the store which is always fascinating for Austin . . . so much to see! I love the lizard outfit with the matching hat so we set up some poses to get some good pictures. We also went over to Uncle Jon's and worked on crawling. He's not crawling but Jon has carpet throughout his apartment so we can crawl around easier and show him how it's done. It would have been quiet the site if someone would've walked in to see Jon, Brian and I crawling around the apartment. :) Austin was more interested in Phoebe, Jon & Clare's cat. He got a hold of her tail, Phoebe didn't seem to care too much but she kept her distance after that!

A Couple of Firsts!

Today we went to Ella Wiersma's 1st Birthday party. It was at a slide that had a playground. We put Austin in a big swing for the first time. He was a little leary at first. Made a little noise because he wasn't quite sure about it but once he got going he had a GREAT time! We had him in the swing for about fifteen minutes and then we took him down the slide once. I don't think he even knew that he went down the slide. Not too interested in the slide but he would definitely do some more swinging!! So, these are a couple of photos and a couple of videos. The videos are sideways because Brian hadn't used the camera as a video recorder before! Enjoy them!!!
